What We Provide

Dignity-first care the moment you arrive.

The Midnight Mission’s Los Angeles Shelter offers Safe Sleep accommodations to some of our most vulnerable and difficult-to-reach guests who often avoid shelter beds and sometimes require additional basic needs. Our goal is to provide a flexible, tolerant, and accessible option for overnight stays for those whose traditional shelters are not ideal arrangements. In our downtown Los Angeles shelter, our guests will have access to the following:

  • A safe, quiet, and controlled environment
  • Clean, accessible restrooms
  • Onsite security
  • Separate spaces for women & families

Who It’s For

Adults, women, and limited family spaces—no cost. No ID? We’ll help you get one.

  • Walk-in welcome. We prioritize safety and health needs.
  • Service animals are welcome.
  • Families: limited emergency space; if full, we’ll connect you to family shelters right away.

How it Works

  1.  Arrive & Check In Security will guide you through check-in process.
  2.  Rest & Receive Services Access meals, hygiene, and a safe, space.
  3.  Plan Next Steps Connect with housing referrals, recovery, education, and employment support.
