Donor Relationships and Privacy

The Midnight Mission (TMM) respects the privacy of donors and works to safeguard the confidentiality of information that a donor reasonably would expect to be private.

TMM provides donors an opportunity to state that they prefer to remain anonymous and that their name, the amount of their gift, or other information not be publicly released.

TMM provides donors an opportunity to have their names removed from any mailing lists which are sold, rented, or exchanged.

TMM honors requests by a donor to curtail repeated mailings or telephone solicitations from in house lists.

TMM solicitations are free from undue influence or excessive pressure, and are respectful of the needs and interests of the donor or potential donor.

Donor Privacy

All information concerning donors or prospective donors, including their names, addresses, and telephone numbers, the names of their beneficiaries, the amount of their gift, etc., shall be kept strictly confidential by TMM and its staff unless permission is obtained from the donor to release such information.

Gifts and donations may be restricted by a donor for use in any specific service area, and/or for any stated TMM purpose or program, and these requests must be honored. Every donor may review a copy of the Donor Bill of Rights.
