A Safe Place for Women on Skid Row

Located in the heart of Skid Row, our Women’s Interim Housing Program centers dignity and safety for women in acute need. In recent years, the reality has grown more urgent:

• 55% increase in women’s homelessness (over the last three years)
• Over 90% of women experiencing homelessness have also survived physical or sexual assault

Here, women find a welcoming environment, trauma-informed care, and a clear pathway to longer-term housing and stability.

What We Provide

Our interim housing offers more than a bed-it’s a coordinated hub of care designed to reduce the length and impact of a homelessness episode:

• Temporary housing in a safe, monitored setting
• Daily meals and essentials
• On-site medical and mental health care
• Case management & service triage tailored to each guest
• Access to education through our on-site school and computer learning center
• Job & career counseling and workforce readiness
• Housing navigation & resources to secure stable placements

We work closely with the Los Angeles Homeless Continuum of Care’s Coordinated Entry System (CES) to connect women efficiently to permanent housing whenever possible-or to the most appropriate service-enhanced housing as the next step.
