Join us for a Midnight Walk on Friday, 8/18, from 11 pm – 6 am. This fundraising walk will raise money for the unhoused community we serve every day. We will meet at a location TBD and walk all night in Santa Monica, Venice, and Playa Vista, ending at 6 am. There will be points along the walk where people who cannot walk at night can safely Uber/Lyft home. The team will wait with them until they are safe with their driver.
Did you know there are over 75,500 people without homes in Los Angeles? As we walk, we will gain awareness of the struggles of our homeless neighbors who endure the nights without safe shelter or the comfort of a bed. We have two goals. The first is to gain a new perspective by walking at night instead of during the day. The second is to raise money for individuals and families to obtain life-saving and life-transforming services so they can turn their lives around and thrive.
