The HomeLight team at Midnight Mission establishes a support plan for all of our participants that are transitioning from the program. Staff also completes home visits and maintains a detailed plan for the families of our participants to stay connected. Families will continue to have access to counseling and mental health programs and groups. Staff advocacy resources are available in addition to employment assistance for all of our members and families. Additionally, we offer care services for kids, which includes tutoring, camps, educational resources and activities, and other outdoor adventures.
Midnight Mission is a Los Angeles shelter that invests in every one of its members and families and creates a supportive plan of service for the three months before transitioning from the program. As a well-respected women’s shelter, Los Angeles HomeLight understands how difficult this transition can be.
Our staff follows up with scheduled visits to the home and maintains a guided plan for each family to remain connected together and in the community. Families can continue access to mental health groups, counseling, staff advocacy, and employment assistance.
