Take a day to get out of the office
and into the community!

At The Midnight Mission, we serve three meals a day to the Skid Row community. In 2012 we served over 1 million meals, a milestone we have not met since the Great Depression.

Workplace volunteer groups who come to serve meals or work in other departments can supplement their commitment with financial support. For example, please consider a gift of $125 per person in your workplace volunteer group (or $2,500 for a team of 20). The Midnight staff can work with you and your colleagues to set up a “friends asking friends” web site to fundraise, leveraging your volunteer commitment by encouraging friends to contribute to your efforts.

Corporate Team Build Days can be used as a reward for hardworking employees, an annual community service project, or simply a fun way to get to know a different side of your coworkers. By taking part in a workplace volunteer day serving meals at The Midnight, your colleagues will reconnect with each other and with people experiencing homelessness in a unique way. They will find themselves energized, motivated, and inspired!
