Farmers Insurance Group kicked off its Global Community week in Los Angeles in June by serving over 520 lunches in The Midnight Mission’s Dining Hall to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.  Among the group were Farmers CEO Jeff Dailey, Chief Operations Officer David Travers and Chief Information Officer Shohreh Abedi. We at The Midnight Mission are proud and pleased to be chosen by Farmers as a strong community partner.

Community Relations Specialist Danielle Prado organized the event and had a special interest in choosing The Midnight Mission. “I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer with several organizations and The Midnight Mission is by far the most rewarding and humbling experience,” said Prado. “It was a great way to begin our Global Community Week and show our employees how a couple of hours of their time can make such a difference to someone who is homeless and hungry.”

A week after their volunteer day, Farmers held a bottled water drive and donated approximately 2,500 bottles of drinking water to The Midnight Mission! On behalf of the people we serve, we thank Farmers for their support and partnership.
