Chief Development Officer
Tami Phillips is the Chief Development Officer for The Midnight Mission. In her previous work, Tami has led all aspects of a non-profit organization, including Board Development, Fundraising, Special Events, Volunteer Services and Operations and Financial Management for two highly respected Southern California non-profit organizations.
Tami was Vice President of Development and Volunteer Services for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles Inc. There, she implemented an on-line giving program and successfully completed a $45 Million fundraising effort, Building a Greater Los Angeles, to support Habitat for Humanity’s ambitious plan to build and renovate 250 homes. She was also responsible for leading and motivating a 10 person development and volunteer services team for the highest producing affiliate in the western region.
From 1983 to 2008 Tami held a variety of positions at Junior Achievement of Southern California, Inc. Some of her biggest achievements include securing over $12 Million in event income, launching a planned giving campaign with over $3 Million in commitments within the first two years, and launching the first JA field office Audit Committee to comply with Sarbanes Oxley and California’s Non-Profit Integrity Act. In 2008, she received the Presidential Gold Volunteer Service Award.
