In keeping with The Midnight Mission’s (TMM) holiday tradition, we are reaching out to our community partners to bring hope and cheer to the lives of the most vulnerable, the children and families in Skid Row. There is a great need in our community. Since 1914, TMM has been meeting those needs with your help.
Every year, TMM works with individuals, schools, places of worship, and local businesses to secure toys and gifts for homeless and near-homeless children.
We would be grateful if you would consider collecting toys at your organization. To be more efficient, we have created a “Toy Drive Toolkit.” It includes a PowerPoint presentation, kick-start ideas, a suggested toy list, and a poster/flyer so you can create your collection boxes and begin your Toy Drive as soon as possible. Please contact Andrew Linares, email@example.com, or call 213-624-9258 ext. 1249 to receive the Toolkit.
Donation drop-offs will be accepted at our facility until Christmas Eve but are preferred by December 21. If you need to schedule a pick-up, please let us know a week or so in advance. We will be scheduling pick-ups on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the month of December.
We are looking for gifts for boys and girls from 1 month to 17 years old. The most helpful gifts are Barbie dolls, action figures, board games, school supplies, new socks, and underwear (in unopened packages), books, educational toys, and gift certificates/cards. More gift ideas can be found in the Toy Drive Toolkit.
You can also access our Amazon Wish List and donate toys directly to The Midnight Mission HERE, or you can use this QR Code.
Your help is needed to ensure that every child can experience the joy of the holiday season. Together we can make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in our community.
Please contact Andrew Linares, firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 213-624-9258 ext. 1249 to let us know if you will be participating in our Toy Drive, as we need to keep track of donors and donations to ensure we will have enough toys for Christmas.
Thank you for your help and your continued support of our cause.
